CDA’s Permit Application clock ticking at 63 days remaining for technical review of application by NJDEP.

According to Mayor Hannen last Tues. night, the final report from Prof. Ambrosio regarding the alleged Florio Perrucci/Morin/Woodmont conflict, is due to the Township Committee today. We have submitted an OPRA for this report.

As stated at the 5/7/13 meeting, the township will first have to determine what is attorney/client privilege before it is released to the public.

• The Township Committee unanimously approved a budget change of +$250,000 to cover Birchwood legal fees for 2013. They (TC) are putting together a legal team and are using the RFP process - fair, but not open. This brings our total tax increase up to 2.8%.
• The legal team will be approved at the May 21, 2013 Township Meeting.
• A resident asked about the status of the Florio Perrucci/Morin conflict of interest report from Prof. Ambrosio. Mayor Hannen said that the Township Committee has a draft of the report and will have a final copy by this Friday. Mayor Hannen is unsure which parts of the report will be made available to the public and which parts will be attorney/client privilege.
• Mayor Hannen did not comment on the content of the Ambrosio report.
